Jennifer Rene Psaki
Jennifer Rene Psaki (American political advisor) was the 34th White House secretary. She held the post from 2021 until 2022. She is a part of the Democratic Party and previously served as the White House deputy Press Secretary (2009) and the White House deputy Communications Director (2009-2011) as well as the spokesperson for US Department of State (2013-15) and the White House communications direct (2015-17). Psaki contributed to CNN's political coverage from 2017 until 2020. Psaki started her professional career in 2001 with the re-election campaigns of Iowa Democrats Tom Harkin for the U.S. Senate and Tom Vilsack for governor. Psaki then was appointed the the deputy press secretary of John Kerry's 2004 presidential campaign. From 2005 until 2006, Psaki served as communications director for U.S. representative Joseph Crowley and as regional press secretary for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. Psaki was the press secretary for President Obama's 2012 reelection campaigns. [20] Psaki was fired as the spokesperson of the United States Department of State on February 11, 2013. Her appointment in the Department of State fueled speculation that she would replace White House Press Secretary Jay Carney as he left for the White House,[21] but on May 30th, 2014, it was announced that Josh Earnest would replace Carney. She was appointed communications director at the White House and continued to continue to do so until the end in 2015.
